We have some exciting news! Please read this message in its entirety for important updates to our School Food Institute websites:
The School Food Institute (SFI) courses will be moving to an upgraded Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) site which means this site will be deactivated and moved to a new updated site.
After Tuesday, July 15th you will not be able to access this site as all of our courses will be moved to the new site. We highly recommend that you finish up any courses that you have started by Monday, July 14th and please wait on starting any new courses until Monday, July 21st as we are also upgrading all of our videos. This means that unfortunately it will look like you have not watched any videos but don’t worry, if you have made it to the assignment and quiz sections or received your course completion certificate all of your work will be saved but you may have to go back and “re-click” through the video sections you already watched.
Our SFI sites need this maintenance down time as we work on making the move while also improving the functionality and accessibility of our sites. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but it will be an improvement in the long run.
By the end of day on Friday, July 18th you should be able to log in at https://sfi.chefannfoundation.org/login/index.php where you can follow the prompts for "Lost Password?" using your email address.
For all future course purchases, please register for any of our courses through our course catalog at https://sfi-shop.thelunchbox.org/w/courses/ which can be found on our new microsite on The Lunch Box at https://www.thelunchbox.org/sfi/
We hope all these moves will be a smooth and easy process, but there are of course many updates that we are making so we truly appreciate any feedback and suggestions you may have to help us ensure you (and future participants) have a great learning experience.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns regarding the School Food Institute, please feel free to contact us at sfi@chefannfoundation.org and we would be happy to answer any of your questions. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Sincerely,
Chef Ann Foundation, School Food Institute Team
